Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how to ask SWFL Cabinets & Closets LLC (“4C Closets & Cabinets”) to delete the personal information we hold about you — including information we received from a Facebook or Instagram lead form, or from a WhatsApp conversation with us.
The quickest way: email cs@closetsandcabinets4c.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. We confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days.
How to make a request
- Email us at cs@closetsandcabinets4c.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. You can also call +1 (239) 470-5729 or write to us at the address below.
- Tell us how to find you. Include the name, email address and phone number you used when you contacted us. If your enquiry came through a Facebook or Instagram lead form or through WhatsApp, please say so and give the phone number or account you used, so we can match the record.
- We verify it is you. We may ask one or two questions to confirm your identity before deleting anything. This protects you from someone else deleting your records.
- We delete and confirm. Within 30 days we delete your personal information and email you to confirm what was removed and what — if anything — we are legally required to keep.
What gets deleted
- Your contact record: name, email, phone number and addresses
- Your enquiry or lead, including anything submitted through a Facebook or Instagram lead form
- Live chat and WhatsApp conversation history held in our system
- Project notes, measurements, designs and any files you uploaded
- Newsletter subscription and marketing preferences
- Your online account, if you created one
What we may have to keep
Some records cannot be deleted on request because the law requires us to hold them:
- Invoices and accounting entries for completed sales — US tax rules require these to be retained for seven years.
- Records needed to honour a warranty on cabinetry we installed for you, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Where this applies we will say so explicitly, delete everything else, and stop using the retained records for any purpose other than the legal obligation they exist to satisfy.
Deleting your data with Meta. Removing your information from our systems does not remove information Meta holds about your use of Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp. To manage or delete that, use the privacy and activity settings in your Meta account, or visit the Meta Privacy Policy.
