SWFL Cabinets & Closets LLC, doing business as 4C Closets & Cabinets (“4C”, “we”, “us” or “our”), designs, builds, delivers and installs custom closets, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and wall units across Southwest Florida.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to www.closetsandcabinets4c.com, to our Facebook and Instagram pages and lead forms, to our WhatsApp Business messaging, and to the quotes, orders and installations we carry out for our customers.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us directly

We collect information when you contact us, request a quote, book an appointment, buy from us, or apply for a job. Depending on what you do, this can include:

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit our website we automatically receive certain technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, how you arrived (for example from a Facebook ad, a search engine or an email), and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies — see section 6.

2.3 Information from other sources

• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — when you submit one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram. See section 3.
• Contractors, builders and designers who refer a homeowner to us, or who ask us to quote for a property they are working on.
• Referrals from existing customers.

3. Facebook and Instagram lead forms

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. Some of those advertisements use Meta Lead Ads — a form that opens inside Facebook or Instagram so you can request information without leaving the app.

When you submit one of those forms, Meta passes us the information you entered, which is typically your name, email address, phone number and your answers to any project questions we asked (for example which room you are remodelling). We import that information into our customer system so a member of our design team can contact you about your enquiry.

Meta’s own handling of your information is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy. You can review and remove lead information Meta holds about you through your Facebook or Instagram account settings.

4. How we use your information

Where the law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on: performing a contract with you; your consent (for marketing, WhatsApp messaging and non-essential cookies); our legitimate interest in running and improving the business; and compliance with legal obligations.

5. WhatsApp, SMS and phone contact

We may contact you by WhatsApp, SMS text message, phone call or email about a project you have enquired about — for example to confirm an appointment, send a design or quote, arrange a delivery, or answer a question.

• Consent. We message you on WhatsApp or by SMS only where you have given us your number and agreed to be contacted, or where you started the conversation with us.
• What we send. Appointment confirmations and reminders, design and quote documents, delivery and installation updates, and answers to your questions. Promotional messages are sent only if you have separately opted in to receive them.
• Frequency. Message frequency varies with the stage of your project. It is not a recurring automated campaign.
• How to stop. Reply STOP to any message, or email cs@closetsandcabinets4c.com, and we will stop messaging you. You can also block our number in WhatsApp.
• Costs. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
• We do not share your phone number or your consent to be messaged with any third party for their own marketing.

WhatsApp is provided by Meta. Messages you exchange with us on WhatsApp are also handled under the WhatsApp Privacy Policy. We keep a copy of the conversation in our customer records so that whoever picks up your project can see what was agreed.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to work; others help us understand how the site is used and how well our advertising performs.

Microsoft Clarity Microsoft Corporation	Aggregated analytics about how visitors navigate our pages, so we can improve them.
Campaign tracking	Tags on links (UTM parameters) that tell us which advertisement, email or social post a visitor arrived from.

Your choices

• Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the site working.
• You can control how Meta uses your activity for advertising in your Facebook Ad Preferences.
• You can opt out of Microsoft Clarity through the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
• Most browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. There is no agreed industry standard for responding to it, so our site does not currently change its behaviour in response.

7. Who we share information with

We share personal information only where it is needed to run our business, and only with parties who are required to protect it. Specifically:

When a retention period ends we delete the information or anonymise it so it can no longer be linked to you.

10. Your privacy rights

Whatever jurisdiction you are in, we will honour the following requests:

• Access — ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to fix information that is wrong or out of date.
• Deletion — ask us to delete your information. See section 11.
• Opt out of marketing — unsubscribe from any marketing email, or reply STOP to a message.
• Object or restrict — ask us to stop or limit a particular use of your information.
• Portability — receive your information in a machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent — where we relied on your consent, withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these, email cs@closetsandcabinets4c.com or call +1 (239) 470-5729. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will not charge you or treat you differently for making a request.

Some rights depend on where you live — for example residents of California, Florida and the European Economic Area have specific statutory rights. We apply the list above to everyone regardless.

11. How to delete your data

We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days. You may also write to us at SWFL Cabinets & Closets LLC, 12210 ITEC Haul Dr, Unit 110, Fort Myers, FL 33913, USA.

What we may have to keep. We cannot delete records the law requires us to retain — principally invoices and accounting entries for completed sales, which US tax rules require us to hold for seven years, and records we need to defend a legal claim or honour a warranty obligation. We will tell you if this applies, delete everything else, and stop using the retained records for any purpose other than the legal one.

Deleting your information from our systems does not delete information held by Meta about your use of Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp. To remove that, use the privacy settings in your Meta account.

12. Security

Our business system is hosted on Odoo’s cloud platform with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access restricted to named user accounts, and regular backups. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider, and full card numbers never reach our systems.

No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

13. Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not direct any advertising to children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact cs@closetsandcabinets4c.com and we will delete it.

14. Where your data is processed

We are based in Fort Myers, Florida, and your information is processed primarily in the United States. Some of our service providers operate internationally, so information may be processed in other countries. Where information is transferred out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our providers rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

15. Third-party links

Our site and our messages sometimes link to other websites — suppliers, social media, payment pages. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies before giving them information.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business, our technology or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. If we make a material change to how we use your personal information we will post a clear notice on this page, and where required we will contact you directly.
